Niagara Gorge, NY
After a long drive all the way from New London, CT to Niagara Falls, NY, we visited the Niagara Gorge State park (downriver from Niagara Falls). The weather was amazing, very bright and sunny. We are standing on the New York side of the river looking across at Canada.
The end of April is a very nice time to visit Niagara Falls as it is not yet the “peak” season where all the tourists come rushing in. There were lots of people, but not nearly as many as there could have been.
I think we were the only tourists in the parking lot at Niagara Gorge State park that day.
New London, CT (Ferry)
The ferry from Orient Point, NY drops us off in New London, CT. Driving the car off the ferry was kind of fun. XD Even though I didn’t stop for long in this beautiful city, I wanted to put the following pictures up to illustrate the setting.
